Comparative analysis of intestinal microflora in patients with Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis and colorectal cancer

The article presents the results of the study of intestinal microflora in 97 patients (aged from 18 to
82 years) with colorectal cancer, ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease.
Analysis of the results indicates the violation of the colon microflora in all groups of patients. The
role of microbiological monitoring in the pre- and postoperative period in patients with chronic
inflammatory bowel diseases and colorectal cancer was discussed. There was found a general
tendency to decrease of the level of microbial normosymbionts in patients with ulcerative colitis
and Crohn’s disease, and the increase of these parameters in colorectal cancer
